I have a floppy disk full of images in PLT format. I need to transfer them into a standard format so they can be inserted into a Word document. How do I go about doing this?
PLT files are files containing instructions in HPGL (HP graphics language) and are intended to be output on a plotter. You need a program that can read this type of file and then save it in another format. Corel PhotoPaint and CorelDraw can do this, although there may be other packages available on the market. However, you will find that most photo-editing applications don't support this format as it isn't a bitmap format.
